THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT WRIT PETITION Nos. 25046 of 2015 and 13106, 13139, 13220, 13550, 13486, 14264, 14265, 13380, 13201, 13370 of 2016 COMMON ORDER:

The issue in these petitions is one and the same and hence this Court has decided to dispose of these petitions by a common order. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader representing the respondents. 3.

The petitioners in these petitions seek direction thereby directing the respondents not to dispossess them from their respective houses without paying them due compensation, benefit and rehabilitation as per law.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioners have represented to the respondents in the year 2014 requesting to pay them due compensation, but no action is taken on their representations.

Learned Government Pleader, Ms. Sridevi, appearing for the respondents, submits that let the petitioners make fresh representations to the respondents and the same shall be decided as per the law and policy.

Accordingly, the petitioners are directed to submit their respective representations afresh, with all factual details, within two weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

On receipt of the representations, the respondent Nos.2, 3 and 4 are directed to decide their respective representations, in accordance with law, within four weeks from the date of receipt of the representations, and communicate the decision to the respective petitioners, in writing, within one week thereafter. 8.

It is needless to state that the respondents shall afford opportunity of hearing to the petitioners while deciding on their representations.

I hereby make it clear that if the respondents come to the conclusion that the petitioners are not entitled to the benefit they are seeking, or if the petitioners have already availed the benefits, the decision taken by the respondents on the petitioners' representations shall come into force after four weeks from the date of communication of the decision to the petitioners. 10.
