ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:

"to declare the in action of the respondents representations dated 21.12.2015 and 18.01.2016 is illegal, arbitrary, contrary to the provisions of law by issuing a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or directions to consider the representations dated 21.12.2015 and 18.01.2016 made by the petitioner consequently consider the representation to post a clerical job either in "Utnoor Depot or any other place in Adilabad District."

2. Heard Sri D.V. Ramana Sarma, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri A. Ravi Babu, learned Standing Counsel for respondents 1 and 2.

3. The counter affidavit deposed by the Law Officer of the respondent Road Transport Corporation is filed. Paragraphs 4 and 5 of the said counter read as under:

"4] Further, it is submitted that the petitioner has submitted a representation on 21.12.2015 to the Regional Manager, Adilabad Regional and requested to provide out of Designation duties to him as he is suffering with paralysis. In turn, the Depot Manager, Utnoor has processed a note to the Competent Authority to consider his representation and to provide out of Designation duties to him vide note of the Depot Manager, Utnoor in file No.E1/255(1)/2016-UTNR, dt.22.01.2016.

5] It is submitted that the note file has already been processed to the Competent Authority to provide him out of Designation duties on his representations dt.21.12.2015 and 18.01.2016 and the case is processed through the Regional Manager, Adilabad to the Competent Authority to consider his

representation. Hence, all the contents raised by the petitioner are denied."

4. In view of the above averments, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by placing on record the above mentioned averments from the counter affidavit.

5. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the respondents to finalise the issue within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after the appearance of the petitioner before the respondents. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
