Reshma Begum And 7 ORS. v. Prl. Secy., Home And 4 ORS.
THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.8448 of 2013 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
2.
The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "....to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus and declare the action of the respondent No.5 herein calling the petitioners without any case is illegal and violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents Nos.1, 2, 3 and 4 herein to take severe action on the irregularities committed by the respondents No.5 herein and to pass such other further order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice."
3.
During the course of the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners brought to the notice of this Court that after filing of the present writ petition, respondent No.5 is not calling the petitioners to the Police Station and thereby no further cause would survive in the writ petition.
4.
Taking the said submission into consideration, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition, since the grievance of the petitioner is already redressed. 5.
Accordingly, the writ petition is closed.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
