THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.25251 of 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to declare the action of the respondents, in proposing to grant excise licence for wine shop/bar at plot No.16 Vimanpuri colony, Quthbullapur, Ranga Reddy District, as illegal and arbitrary. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Prohibition & Excise(A.P.). When the matter is taken up, learned Government Pleader for Prohibition & Excise (Telangana) has placed on record the proceedings of the District Prohibition & Excise Officer, Medchel in Cr.No.E2/257/2017 dated 09.08.2017. By virtue of the said proceedings, the request of the petitioner herein, not to renew the licence of M/s Shiva Shivani Wines, has been rejected. In view of the above, the cause in the present Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication. However, it is open for the petitioner herein to assail the said order of rejection in appropriate proceedings in accordance with law.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
