THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.1308 of 2012 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by A.1 & A.2 under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in Crime No.28 of 2012 of Tadepalligudem Town Police Station, registered for the offences punishable under Section 3(i)(x) of Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 r/w Sections 427, 448 r/w 34 IPC.

Heard.

On perusal of the entire material available on record, it is clear that there are some allegations as against the petitioners and this is a matter which has to be investigated into by the police. Hence, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in the said crime at this stage. However, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the concerned police are directed to complete the investigation in the matter without arresting the petitioners herein and file final report, if any, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions filed in this Criminal Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
