This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful and deliberate disobedience of the order dt.10.11.2014 in W.P.MP.No.38842 of 2014 in W.P.No.31073 of 2014. 2.

In the said order, this Court directed the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners for selection and appointment to the post of Principal in the existing vacancies as per the direction of the Apex Court dt.30.09.2013 in Civil Appeals No.14955 of 2013 within a period of six weeks. 3.

The cases of the petitioners were considered and a communication had been issued by the Director of School Education and Ex-Officio Project Director, Rashtriya Madhyamika Shiksha Abhiyan vide proceedings Rc.No.500/B1/MS/TG/2014, dt.17.10.2016 rejecting the cases of the petitioners.

Though there is some delay in the implementation of the order 10.11.2014 by the respondents, since there was an application to vacate the interim order pending in WV.MP.No.773 of 2015, which came to be rejected only on 23.09.2016, I am of the opinion that the said delay in

complying with the order dt.10.11.2014 cannot be found fault with.

Therefore, granting liberty to the petitioners to question the order dt.17.10.2016, this Contempt Case is closed. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
