When this matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the writ petition was dismissed for default against the 2nd respondent vide order dated 29.12.2010 and thereafter, the petitioner has not taken any steps to get the writ petition restored against the 2nd respondent.

The petitioner challenged the order passed by the authority in favour of the 2nd respondent. In the absence of the 2nd respondent, this writ petition cannot be decided on merits. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
