HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.21414 of 2019 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not issuing new passport on the application of the petitioner with correct date of birth i.e., 11.06.1966 instead of 11.06.1960 as illegal and arbitrary and for consequential directions. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt. Thakur Roop Singh, learned Standing Counsel for respondents 2 & 4.

Learned Standing Counsel submits the petitioner sought for closure of application and no fresh application is filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will file necessary application before the 4th respondent in the prescribed format.

Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of leaving it open for the petitioner to make fresh application in the prescribed format before the 4th respondent and on such application, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
