Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development (A.P) for first respondent, learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3 and learned Government Pleader for Revenue (A.P) for respondent Nos.4 and 5.

The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition, as averred in the writ affidavit, is that the respondents are trying to dispossess them from their respective houses situated in Sy.No.177/2 of Chinnamushidivada Village, Pendurthi Mandal, Visakhapatnam District.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3, on instructions, that if the properties of the petitioners are required for public purpose, the procedure in accordance with law will be adhered to by respondent Nos.2 and 3.

The said statement is recorded and the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents not to meddle with the subject properties of the petitioners herein, except in accordance with law. It is made clear that it is open for the respondents to acquire the properties of the petitioners, if the same are required for any public purpose, as per law.
