The petitioner complains inaction in registering FIR in the present writ petition.

After perusing the record, this Court is of the view that the petitioner failed to discharge the burden that the complaint in fact, is received by police and it is evidenced by acknowledgment. Unless and until the complaint is at least received by Police, a general direction cannot and could not be issued. The writ prayer is not entertained and the writ petition is dismissed accordingly. No order as to costs.
