Heard Sri Y.Ashok Raj, counsel for petitioner and Sri R.Vinod Reddy, Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 2 to 5. 2.
Counsel for petitioner as well as Standing Counsel appearing for respondents have informed the Court that the issue raised in this writ petition is squarely covered by the judgment rendered by this Court in W.P.No.9289 of 2019, dated 29.04.2019. Therefore, they requested that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to release the power supply to the premises of the petitioner subject to compliance of the terms and conditions and on furnishing an undertaking to produce the occupancy certificate from the concerned Municipal Corporation within a prescribed period, and if no such occupancy certificate is produced within such period, it is open to the respondents to take appropriate action in accordance with law. 3.
This Court, having considered the above submissions, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of in terms of the orders in W.P.No.9289 of 2019, dated 29.04.2019. Respondents are directed to release the power supply to the premises of the petitioner subject to compliance of the terms and conditions and on furnishing an undertaking to produce the occupancy certificate from the concerned Municipal Corporation within a prescribed period. If no such occupancy certificate is produced within such period, it is open to the respondents to take appropriate action in accordance with law.
