THE HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER WRIT PETITION No.18692 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents, more particularly respondent No.4, in not conducting survey and demarcating the boundaries of the lands in survey No.336 admeasuring Acs.5-15 guntas, survey No.336/A2 admeasuring Acs.5-20 guntas and survey No.336/A3 admeasuring Acs.5-20 guntas, totally admeasuring Acs.16-15 guntas, situated at Chengole Village, Tandur Mandal, Vikarabad District, as arbitrary and illegal and consequently direct respondent No.4 to consider representation dated 23.03.2018, conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the lands of the petitioners.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents and perused the record.

3. It has been contended that the petitioners own lands in survey No.336 situated at Chengole Village, Tandur Mandal, Vikarabad District. They filed an application on 23.03.2018 seeking to conduct survey of the said lands. But, the survey has not been carried out.

There is no denial by the learned Assistant Government Pleader with regard to filing of the application by the petitioner on 23.03.2018 vide application No.DER021800241139 for conducting survey of the land in survey No.336 situated at Chengole Village, Tandur Mandal, Vikarabad District. It is borne from the record that survey is not yet conducted. When an application is filed to

conduct survey of the land, it is required to be disposed of in terms of the regulations governing the conduct of survey. Since no action is taken on the application filed by the petitioners, the respondents 3 and 4 are directed to examine the application, dated 23.03.2018, submitted by the petitioners and dispose of the same in terms of the governing regulations expeditiously within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending in this petition, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
