ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in refusing to allow the petitioners to appear for the Final Year Part-I MBBS examinations scheduled to be held from 02.02.2012 to 07.02.2012 as illegal and arbitrary. The petitioners sought for a consequential direction to the respondents to permit them to appear for the said examination.

Sri P.Gangaiah Naidu, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners, submitted that while admitting the writ petition, this Court has granted interim order on 19.12.2011 directing the respondents to permit the petitioners to appear for the examinations and that in pursuance thereof, the petitioners have appeared for the examination and that in pursuance of the subsequent interim order, dated 18.06.2012, their results have also been declared. The learned Senior Counsel has accordingly stated that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

Sri A.Prabhakar Rao, learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.1 and 2, has not disputed the above submissions of the learned Senior Counsel. In the light of the above facts, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.41138/11 & 14317/12 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
