This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: " .. to issue any writ or order or direction particularly one in the nature of Mandamus declaring the inaction on the part of the respondents in considering my case for regularization in terms of B.P. Ms.No.36 dated 18.5.1997 as illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory, unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to forthwith consider my candidature for regularization and absorption in any suitable post in terms of B.P.Ms.No.36 dated 18.5.1997"

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is seeking regularization of his services in terms of B.P.(P&G.Per) Ms.No.36 dated 18.5.1997 and the said B.P.(P&G.Per) Ms.No.36 dated 18.5.1997 has been withdrawn by the respondents and no relief can be granted to the petitioner. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.
