THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR
P.I.L. No.344 of 2015 PC: (per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Learned counsel for the petitioners does not press this PIL and seeks liberty to the petitioners to make a fresh representation to the fourth respondent and seeks direction to the fourth respondent to consider and decide their representation within timeframe. Learned counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 6 submits that respondent No.4 shall decide the petitioners' representation on merits in accordance with law.
In the circumstances, we are satisfied that the following order shall meet the ends of justice:
"It is open to the petitioners to make a representation within a period of two weeks from today. The fourth respondent shall consider and decide the representation within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the representation on merits in accordance with law and after granting an opportunity of being heard to the representative of the petitioners and the seventh respondent. It is made clear that we have not dealt with merits of the case."
PIL is accordingly disposed of as not pressed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of.
