HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2019 in/and Criminal Petition No.6157 of 2019 ORDER:

The petitioner, who is accused in S.C.No.753 of 2019 on the file of the IX Senior Civil Judge-cum-Assistant Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy district, at L.B.Nagar, out of Cr.No.229 of 2018 on the file of the Station House Officer, L.B.Nagar, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 307 IPC, filed this Criminal Petition under Section 482 CrPC to quash the proceedings in the above case. 2.

Both the petitioner and the defacto-complainant, who are none other than husband and wife, along with their respective counsel present and the parties were identified by their respective counsel. When examined they stated that they intend to compromise the matter pending criminal petition and filed petitions seeking to permit them to compromise the matter and quash the proceedings against the petitioners in view of the compromise.

Perused the petitions vide I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2019 filed by the defacto-complainant for permission to compromise the matter with the petitioner and consequently quash the proceedings in the above case against the petitioner. The joint memo duly signed by both the parties along with their respective counsel is filed wherein they stated that they have amicably settled the disputes between them and she has no objection to quash the criminal proceedings against the petitioner. The joint memo is also supported by the affidavit of the defactocomplainant. It is also submitted that during the pendency of the case both have stayed together.

Thus in view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and the offences alleged against the petitioners are compounded.

Accordingly, I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2019 are allowed and the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings in S.C.No.753 of 2019 on the file of the IX Senior Civil Judge-cum-Assistant Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy district, at L.B.Nagar, against the petitioner. The petitioner is acquitted and his bail bonds, if any, shall stand cancelled. 6.
