Heard. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission. 2.

The petitioner was appointed as Home Guard in the year 2007. In the year 2009, on an allegation of registration of a crime against the petitioner, he was removed from service. In C.C.No.78 of 2011 on the file of Special Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Hayatnagar, the petitioner was accused No.1. However, by judgment dated 13.01.2014, he was acquitted. After his acquittal, he submitted a representation, dated 29.12.2016, to the Inspector General of Police, Home Guards, the 2nd respondent, with a request to reinstate him into service in view of his acquittal by the competent Court. Alleging inaction on the part of the respondents, the petitioner filed this Writ Petition. 3.

Having regard to the fact that the petitioner submitted the representation praying to reinstate him into service as a consequence to acquittal in C.C.No.78 of 2011, dated 13.01.2014, and the said representation is stated to be pending, this Court is not inclined to keep the Writ Petition pending. 4.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation, dated 29.12.2016, submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon by assigning due reasons and communicate the decision to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably

within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
