Mr.Chidambaram, after arguing the writ petition for some time, does not press the writ petition but seeks liberty to work out all remedies available to petitioners either before Civil Court or appropriate forum under the provisions of the Panchayat Raj Act or the Board Standing orders and protect the right and enjoyment the petitioners have as on date.
