The petition is seeking to modify the condition of bail of production of the original passport before the court as one of the conditions of the bail granted on 22.05.2018. Now the modification is in seeking to lift the condition as the original passport stated lost.

There is nothing to show that the passport was lost, how lost, and what action immediately thereafter taken if at all for obtaining duplicate passport before involving in the present crime.

Having regard to the above, there is nothing to relax the condition. But for, if at all, to apply for duplicate passport and submit the same for consideration of release. The committal court shall make every endeavour to commit the case as it is practically a post office duty but for compliance with conditions of clauses (a) to (d) of Section 209 of Cr.P.C. for the Court of Sessions and frame charges and if at all the case to be taken up for trial, to be asked for early disposal.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
