THE HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.6245 of 2019 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of investigation in Crime No.1295 of 2019 of Rajendranagar Police Station, Cyberabad, Ranga Reddy District, registered against the petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 7 for the offences punishable under Section 498-A I.P.C. and Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

During the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioners submits hat he does not want to press the criminal petition for petitioners 1 & 2/Accused Nos.1 & 2, as they have already been enlarged on bail on 24.09.2019, in Crl.M.P.No.1314 of 2019, passed by the XIV Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad, at Rajendranagar.

With respect to petitioner Nos.3 to 7/Accused Nos.3 to 7, though the learned counsel for the petitioners filed the present petition for quashing the investigation in the aforesaid crime, he restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the Investigating agency to follow the procedure prescribed under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. and the guidelines prescribed by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar and another1.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the directions of the Apex Court have to be followed and implemented. 5.
In that view of the matter, this Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the police to abide by the directions of the Apex Court as set 1 AIR 2014 SC 2756,
out in Arnesh Kumar's case (supra). However, no coercive steps shall be taken against petitioner Nos.3 to 7/Accused Nos.3 to 7. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
