This criminal petition is filed, by the petitioner / accused, under Section 438 Cr.P.C., seeking anticipatory bail in Crime No.34 of 2016 on the file of the Station House Officer, Dundigal Police Station registered for the offence punishable under Section 420 of IPC.

The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of the Court to permit the petitioner to withdraw the Criminal Petition with a liberty to avail the remedies available to him under law. Permission is accorded.

In the result, granting the liberty as prayed for, this Criminal petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
