Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Sri Ancha Panduranga Rao, learned Standing Counsel for Guntur Municipal Corporation.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner herein got issued a legal notice on 09.04.2018 to the respondentMunicipal Corporation narrating various facts. It is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent Municipality that, if the land in possession of the petitioner is required for any public purpose, the respondent-Guntur Municipal Corporation will follow due process of law. The said statement is placed on record.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents to follow due process of law, if the subject land is required for any public purpose. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
