O R D E R :

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/accused under section 437 and 439 of Cr.P.C., seeking to release him on bail in Crime No. 98 of 2016 of Bheemini Police Station, Mancherial district, registered for the offence punishable under section 302 of IPC.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/accused and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor [TG] appearing on behalf of the State.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor vehemently opposed the bail petition and contended that investigation is pending and the offence alleged against the petitioner is under section 302 of IPC.

4. Prima facie, keeping in view the nature and gravity of the offence and the further fact that investigation is still pending, I am not inclined to admit the petitioner on bail at any rate at this stage.

4. The Criminal Petition is accordingly dismissed.

5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand disposed of.
