HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R.SUBHASH REDDY AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.SHANKAR NARAYANA WRIT PETITION No.17608 of 2015 ORDER : (per Hon'ble Sri Justice R.Subhash Reddy) The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the detention order vide Proc.No.C1/2056/2015, dated 23.05.2015, issued by the 2nd respondent-Collector and District Magistrate, Adilabad District, in exercise of powers under Section 3(1) and 3(2) of the A.P. Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Dacoits, Drug Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offender and Land Grabbers Act, 1986, as arbitrary and illegal.

When the matter is called for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the Government have issued orders vide G.O.Rt.No.1989, General Administration (Law & Order) Department, dated 17.07.2015, revoking the aforesaid order of detention based on the report and opinion dated 10.07.2015 expressed by the Advisory Committee, and thereby ordered for release of the detenu. A copy of the said G.O., is placed on record.

3. In view of the orders passed by the Government vide G.O.Rt.No.1989, General Administration (Law & Order) Department, dated 17.07.2015, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and the writ petition has

become infructuous.
