SRT DEVI CRIMINAI- PEl'ITION No.7325 ol' 2020 oRDIiIi, The Crirninal Petition, under Secrion 438 ol Cr.P.C., is filed by the petitioner/A- l l, seeking to grant anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.69 of 2020 of Mellachervu Police Station, Suryapet District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 420 of IPC and Section 7 of Essential Commodities Act. Heard leamed counsel appearing for the petitioner, leamed Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State and perused the record.
Learned counsel for petitioner submitted that the petitioner is being lalsely irnplicated in this case, hence, he may be granted anticipatory bail. On the other hand, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the petitioner is a habitual offender and that more than 13 cases are registered against hirn.
Considering the aforesaid submissions and lraving regard to the lacts and circurnstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
The Criminal Petition is, accordingly, disrnissed. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the competent Court within a period of ten days from today and applies for regular bail, the same shall be considered by the I said Court, in accordance with law.
