The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to continue the petitioner in service till he completes the superannuation age of 62 years as Lecturer in Telugu in the fifth respondent college. At the time of filing the writ petition, the petitioner was aged 58 years and there was no interim order. In the absence of any interim order, the cause of action in the writ petition does not survive. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.
