THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION NO.4368 OF 2013 ORDER:

The petitioner filed this Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "...to issue a Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in opening Rowdy Sheet as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct them to remove the name of the petitioner from the Rowdy Sheet Register and pass such other order or orders may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." Ms. Anjali Agarwal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submits that against the other accused in the same crime this Court quashed the rowdy sheet opened against him by allowing W.P.No.27420 of 2011 vide order dated 18.04.2012. Further, the petitioner was acquitted in the crime which was registered against him.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home does not dispute the same.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, this Writ Petition is allowed quashing the rowdy sheet opened against the petitioner. There shall be no orders as to costs.
