The present writ petition is filed to declare the inaction of the 3rd respondent-Circle Inspector of Police, Kataram Police Station in calling the petitioner to the police station and harassing him physically and mentally by depriving his personal liberties and threatening to settle the land dispute as per their dictates and hand over the land claimed by the respondents 4 and 5, as being illegal and arbitrary. Heard Sri T. Ramchander Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the official respondents 1 to 3. Though Sri Y. Randheer, learned counsel entered appearance for the respondents 4 and 5, none appears on his behalf.

It is the case of the petitioner that the 3rd respondent authority is calling the petitioner to the police station and threatening to settle the land dispute which the petitioner has with respondents 4 and 5 admeasuring an extent of Ac.0.36 guntas in Survey No.158/1/1 situated at Regulagudem Village, Kataram Mandal, Jayashankar Bhupalapally District, with a consequential direction to the 3rd respondent not to harass the petitioner physically and mentally.

basis of written instructions dated 30.09.2019, a copy of which is placed on record of this Court, submits that no case is registered against the petitioner in the Kataram Police Station and the respondent police authorities have never called the petitioner to police station or harassed him physically and mentally.

Recording the said statement made on behalf of the 3rd respondent, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
