THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 29931 of 2017 ORDER:

Petitioner No.1 claims to be the owner and possessor of land admeasuring Ac.0.62 cents and Ac.1.23 cents in Survey Nos.85/2 and 92/1A respectively and petitioner No.2 claims to be the owner and possessor of land admeasuring Acs.4.22 cents, Ac.0.57 cents, Ac.0.89 cents, Ac.0.84 cents and Ac.1.13 cents in Survey Nos.85/1, 85/3, 91/3A, 91/3B and 93/2B respectively, situated at Velavalapalli Village, Ainavilli Mandal, East Godavari District. They obtained provisional registration for conversion of their land for the purpose of aquaculture and submitted an application on 25.03.2017 for issuance of final registration certificate. When the said application was not considered, the present writ petition is filed.

Respondent No.2-Collector/Chairperson, District Level Committee for Fresh Water Aquaculture, Kakinada is the competent authority for issuance of final registration certificate. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to consider the application, dated 25.03.2017, submitted by the petitioner and issue final registration certificate, in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
