The writ petition is taken up for disposal, at the stage of admission itself, with the consent of both sides,

2. This writ petition is filed by the petitioner viz., V. Krishna Mohan Rao seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents particularly respondent No.5 - Principal, Government Junior College, Chirugumamidi, Karimnagar District, in not permitting him to execute the bond and also not permitting him to attend the college on par with other contract lecturers though he fulfills renewal qualification of the post of Junior Lecturer in Civics subject, as illegal, arbitrary and against the principles of natural justice and also violative of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India, and sought a consequential direction to the respondents to permit him to work as contract lecturer in the 5th respondent college without any interruption with all consequential benefits.

3. Heard Sri G.V.L. Murthy, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Government Pleader for Higher Education, and perused the material on record.

4. It has been contended by the petitioner that he is fully eligible and qualified to work as contract lecturer. The petitioner further submitted that the 5th respondent had engaged his services as

contract Junior Lecturer in 2011 and since then, he has been discharging his duties to the best satisfaction of his superiors and everyone concerned.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the tenure of contract appointees was extended from time to time and the said extension was valid up to 31.05.2019 and thereafter since the respondents have not renewed the tenure of contract appointment of the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 19.08.2019 to the respondents, but they have neither passed any orders thereon nor renewed the contract services of the petitioner as Junior Lecturer in Civics subject, as such, he prays that the respondents may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law.

6. Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the case of the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed on the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law.

Considering the rival submissions of the parties, this Court is of the considered view that the writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.08.2019 and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of a receipt of a copy of this order.

8. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition stand closed.
