This Criminal Petition is filed seeking quash of the Proceedings in Crime No. 240 of 2011 of Kukkatpally Police Station, Ranga Reddy district, which is registered for the offences under section 506 and 509 of I.P.C.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor for the first respondent-State.

3. The complaint is filed stating that the complainant is continuously receiving threatening calls from a particular mobile Nos. 9848051825, 9700354832 and 9703461919. They are also threatening his employees. The name of the accused however is not reflected in the complaint but the case is still at the stage of crime. Hence, it has to be understood as to how the names of the accused came to light and what investigation is done in that regard.

4. It appears that on the basis of the phone numbers the name of the accused came out. Hence, unless investigation is takenup, it cannot be said that the accused are innocent. Hence, in view of the above, this Criminal Petition is dismissed.

5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this Criminal Petition stand dismissed.
