CVNR, J C.C.No.2185 of 2016 Dt: 13.07.2018 Order :

This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful disobedience of Order, dated 02-12-2013, in W.P.No.32353 of 2013, by the respondents.

At long last, respondent No.1 has issued Memo No.3788/Assn.II(1)/2018-4, dated 23-06-2018, in purported compliance of the aforementioned Order of this Court, by rejecting the claim of the petitioners for regularization of their lands in terms of G.O.Ms.No.166, dated 16-02-2008.

Learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the reasons assigned for rejection are not legal and proper. In my opinion, with the issuance of the afore-mentioned Memo, by which the petitioners' applications for regularization were rejected on the ground that some of the conditions stipulated in G.O.Ms.No.166, dated 16-02-2008, were not satisfied, the respondents have complied with the Order of this Court. If the petitioners feel aggrieved by the said Order, they shall be free to avail appropriate legal remedy in order to challenge the same. Subject to the liberty given to the petitioners as above, the Contempt Case is dismissed.
