Sri K. Sasidharan, learned counsel representing Sri K. Rajendran, learned counsel for the respondent, states that the respondent is no longer in the service of the Hyderabad Public School as he resigned long ago.

The cause in the writ appeal as well as in the writ petition is therefore rendered purely academic.

The writ appeal is accordingly dismissed.

Pending Miscellaneous Petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
