THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 9429 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of respondent No.3-Station House Officer, P.S. Golconda, Hyderabad in not registering a crime pursuant to the complaint, dated 16.02.2017, lodged by the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits that the complaint, dated 16.02.2017, was received by Golconda Police, but, since they came to the conclusion that the alleged offence took place within the jurisdiction of Humayunnagar Police Station, they have not taken any action. When the complaint was lodged and the offence took place in another jurisdiction, the Police, who received the complaint, could have registered a Zero FIR and transferred it to the police station concerned for further action.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.3 to register the complaint and transfer it to the police station concerned for further action.
