ORDER

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.944 of 2018 on the file of the Special Magistrate, Hayathnagar, Ranga Reddy District, registered for the offence under Section 304-A IPC and under Section 196 of Motor Vehicles Act, against the petitioner/accused. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner/accused, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the 1st respondent-State and perused the material on record.

Though the petitioner has raised several grounds to quash the aforesaid proceedings, learned counsel for the petitioner, during hearing, submits that charge sheet was filed long back, but trial has not been commenced and requested that there may be a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the aforesaid case as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the request made by the learned counsel for petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, it would be appropriate to direct the trial Court to expedite trial in C.C.No.944 of 2018 on the file of the Special Magistrate, Hayathnagar, Ranga Reddy District, and dispose of the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. 6.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
