Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus directing respondent No.2 to dispose the appeal vide file No.Rc.B/ 3349/ 2013 pending on his file, within a time bound programme and pass such other order or orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case".

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the appeal, as early as possible. 5.

Having regard to the above submission, respondent No.2 shall dispose of Appeal in file No.Rc.B/ 33492013, as early as possible, preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. 7.
