When this writ petition of the year 2007 is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned counsel for petitioner that the petitioner has not given any instructions to him and in that view of the matter, the writ petition may be dismissed for default. 2.

Learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for the respondents is present.

As there was no representation for the petitioner on 16.08.2018, the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption 'for dismissal'. Despite listing the matter under the said caption, the writ petitioner has not given any instructions to his counsel to proceed with the matter. In view of the same, the conduct of the petitioner indicates that he is not interested in prosecuting the proceedings in this writ petition.

In the result, the Writ Petition is dismissed for default. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed.
