THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NO.9796 OF 2007 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay compensation under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act to the lands of the petitioners situated at Voguru Village, Gopavaram Mandal, Kadapa District, in Reach No.II, in terms of the compensation fixed in L.A.O.P.No.55 of 1985, on the file of the Subordinate Judge, Rajampet and as directed by this Court in W.P.No.20760 of 2004, dated 6.12.2004.

When this matter was taken up for hearing today, it has been brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition that the compensation under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act as fixed by the learned Subordinate Judge, Rajampet in L.A.O.P.No.55 of 1985 was already paid to the petitioners vide proceedings dated 25.8.2008. The learned Government Pleader has also furnished a copy of the letter dated 11.4.2018 addressed to him by the Special Deputy Collector, to that effect. In view of the same, the cause in the present writ petition does not survive.
