This writ petition was filed for the following relief: "to issue a writ or order/s more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.2 in not granting permission and not issuing way-bills to the petitioner pursuant to order No.5493/SPIU & Sand/2008-2 dated 18-02-2009 as arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct respondent No.2 to grant permission and issue way-bills for conducting sand quarry operations for 71 days at Godavari Pedda Vaagu (Bathukammam Vaagu), north side of Godavari river connecting area Chinthapally Village, Chennur Mandal, Adilabad District."

In view of the expiry of lease period, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition, and accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
