The present writ petition is filed to declare the action of respondent 4 in not registering a case on the basis of the compliant, dated 23.09.2019, which was sent to respondents 2 to 4 through registered post for taking appropriate action against respondents 5 to 7, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 14.10.2019, would submit that the petitioner sent a complaint to the Superintendent of Police, Bhadradri Kothagudem District, through registered post and the said complaint was forwarded to the Station House Officer, Kothagudem III Town Police Station, i.e. respondent 4 herein, through proper channel. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would further submit that on receipt of the said complaint, a GD entry was made and a case was registered in Crime No.98 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 454 and 380 IPC on the file of Kothagudem III Town Police Station, on 12.10.2019. 4.

Having regard to the said submission on behalf of respondent 4, since the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed, no further orders are required to be passed in the writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
