HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 4826 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A.3 to A5 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 68 of 2013 of Gadwal Town Police Station, Mahabubnagar Distriact, which was registered for the offences under Section 498-A & 509 IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 26.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Gadwal Town Police Station, Jogulamba, Gadwal District and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 7.3.2017 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 68 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
