Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue and with the consent of the both the counsel, the writ petition is being disposed of. The present writ petition came to be filed questioning the inaction of the 1st respondent in not disposing of the revision of the petition bearing number R.M. Peshi No.2214, dated 09-102010, which was filed against the order of the 3rd respondent in Dis.No.A4/4193/2010 dated 23-09-2010, even after long lapse of time.

At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the revision was filed in the month of October 2010 before the 1st respondent, till today no orders are passed. No counter is filed by the respondents. However, the learned Government Pleader for

Revenue on instructions submits that appropriate directions may be given to the 1st respondent to dispose of the revision, if the same is still pending consideration.

Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the 1st respondent is directed to dispose of revision in R.M. Peshi No.2214, dated 09-10-2010, which is filed against the order of the 3rd respondent in Dis.No.A4/4193/2010, dated 23-092010, in accordance with law, if the said revision is still pending, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
