O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To issue a writ more particularly in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent No.1 in placing the 2nd petitioner college in "withdrawal of Approval"

for the academic year 2018-19 vide the impugned order F.No.AICTE/AB/scr/pid 1-8131421/2018-19/5%, dated 30-04-2018 in confirmation of the proceedings dated 12-04-2018 as arbitrary, illegal, offending Articles 14 and 30(1) of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 1st respondent - council to grant extension of approval for the academic year 2018-19 by considering the explanation and documents submitted by the petitioner - college and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the interest of justice." Heard Sri S.Sri Ram, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri K.Ramakanth Reddy for 1st respondent, Government Pleader for 2nd respondent and Ms. Ch.Jayanthi Rao for respondent No.3.

Learned counsel appearing for both the parties agreed for disposal of the writ petition with a direction to respondent No.1 to reconsider the case of the petitioner No.2 - College for extension of approval for the academic year 201819. In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of the case, writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to reconsider the case of the 2nd petitioner - College, for extension of approval for the academic year 2018-19, in accordance with law, after affording the petitioners opportunity of hearing, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
