THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.40647 of 2015 ORDER:

The prayer of the petitioner in this case is as under: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus, to direct the 4th respondent not to interfere in the civil disputes between the petitioner and the respondents 5 to 7 and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

The Station House Officer, Bheemavaram I Town Police Station, West Godavari District, filed a counter-affidavit denying the allegations levelled by the petitioner that the police authorities were interfering in civil disputes between himself and the unofficial respondents. He stated that no complaint had been registered by or against the petitioner with the Bheemavaram I Town Police Station and therefore, the question of interfering with the civil disputes did not arise. He further stated that the police authorities never interfered with any such disputes and denied the allegations to the contrary. The afore-stated stand of the police authorities, as set out in the counter-affidavit, is duly taken on record. In the light thereof, no adjudication on merits is warranted presently. Sri K. Ramakoteswara Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, is also agreeable to closure of the case recording the stand of the police authorities.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
