The present Criminal Petition is filed seeking the Court to call for the record relating to the Crime No.132 of 2014 of Police Station Karimnagar II Town, Karimnagar and quash the proceedings that are pending against the petitioner in Crime No.132 of 2014.

The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor would submit that in the impugned crime the Police has filed closure report on 31.12.2014 referring the case as Civil in nature. 4.

In these circumstances, as relief sought in the petition become ineffective and does not survive for adjudication, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
