RAMACHANDRA RAO Writ Petition No.617 of 2015 Order: (per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta) Counter affidavit has been filed by respondent No.3. No one appeared for the petitioner. However, the learned lawyer, who is not authorized to appear in this matter, asked for time to file an affidavit in reply. We are unable to accept her request since she was not engaged by the petitioner.

We have seen the counter affidavit.

It appears that the alleged detenu has been arrested in connection with a criminal case and has been produced before the appropriate Court, which has remanded him to judicial custody. Hence, we close this writ petition.
