This writ petition is filed to declare that the petitioner is entitled to selection and appointment for the post of Anganwadi Worker as per Rule IV of AP Women and Child Welfare Subordinate Service Rules and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to set aside the appointment of the 4th respondent as Anganwadi Worker of Ananthavaram village, Thulluru mandal, Guntur District.

Learned counsel for the writ petitioner is not present. No representation. Learned Government Pleader for Women and Child Welfare is present.

This matter pertains to the year 2007. Since there is no representation for the petitioner, inspite of giving sufficient opportunity, and inspite of listing the matter under the caption of "For Dismissal", it appears that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case. 4.

In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
