Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. With their consent, the present Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed with the following prayer:
"....to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent No.3 in non completing the enquiry in pursuance of the notice No. B/1512/2016 dated 22.08.2016 regarding the assigned land in Sy No.54 extent Ac 5.29 gts situated at Ranga pet village, Bellampally Mandal, Mancherial District under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (Prohibition of transfer) Rules 2007 as arbitrary and illegal and also violative of the Articles 14, 16 and 300A of the Constitution of India and also contrary to provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (Prohibition of transfer) Rules 2007 consequently direct the respondent to complete the enquiry."

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to complete the enquiry in respect of the land in dispute at the earliest.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that he has no objection for the same.

Having regard to the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to complete the enquiry in pursuance of the notice dated 22.08.2016 regarding the assigned land to an extent of Ac.5.29 Gts., in Sy.No.54 situated at Ranga Pet Village, Bellampally Mandal, Macherial District, in accordance with law, as early as possible preferably within a period of six (06) to eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the petitioner and the aggrieved persons, if any. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs. _______________________ JUSTI CE C.
