O R D E R

This writ petition was filed aggrieved by the non-consideration of the petitioner's application for grant of a mining lease. By order dated 20.03.2012, this Court directed the Tahsildar, Owk Mandal, Kurnool District, to consider issuance of a 'No Objection Certificate' to the petitioner in accordance with law.

It is now stated by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue that the Tahsildar, Owk Mandal, Kurnool District, issued a 'No Objection Certificate' pursuant to the interim order. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Mines and Geology states that a quarry lease was granted to the petitioner in respect of certain land in Sy.No.707 of Cherlopalli Village, Owk Mandal, Kurnool District, for a period of ten years under proceedings dated 04.07.2014. The Note addressed by the Assistant Director of Mines and Geology, Banaganapalle, Kurnool, which speaks to this effect, is also placed on record. In view of the above developments, it is clear that the grievance of the petitioner stands settled.

The writ petition is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand closed. No order to costs.
