THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE G. CHANDRAIAH CC No.48 of 2015 Oral Order:

This Contempt Case has been alleging willful disobedience of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.16613 of 2006 dated 29.7.2011.

Writ Petition No.16613 of 2006 has been filed by N. Balaraju (since died), who retired as Assistant Accounts Officer in the respondent-A.P. Transco with effect from 31.3.2006, seeking directions to the respondents to fix his pension as per the revised pay scales 2006 instead of pay scales of 2002.

This Court by its order dated 29.7.2011 in W.P.No.16613 of 2006 directed the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for fixing the pension in terms of A.P. Transco Revised Pay Scales 2006 by passing appropriate orders within two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

This Court on 30.1.2015 ordered 'notice before admission' in this Contempt Case, pursuant to which the respondents filed detailed counter affidavit. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents by producing the Memo No.HRD/IR/Pensions/F.N.1153/11.D.No.12/15 dated 6.2.2015 submitted that in pursuance of the orders of this Court, the competent authority has accorded approval to revise the Pensionary Benefits in respect of N. Bala Raju retired on 31.3.2006 and expired on 2.7.2011 and Smt. N.Bharathi W/o N. Balaraju in terms of Revised Pay Scales 2006; and that as the orders passed by this Court have been complied with no further orders are necessary to be passed in the contempt case. Learned counsel also submitted that proceedings dated 6.2.2015 has already been served on the petitioners.

Recording the submission that the orders passed by this Court have been complied with vide proceedings dated 6.2.2015, the

Contempt Case is closed.
